I am Ramon Serrate , the person behind RayznGames. I started learning animation and 3D design at La Merce in 2020 while working in an office as a technical Support assistant. While studying at school, my passion for programming went from fear to love, and the creation of minor interactive experiences led to a spirit of constant development and learning. After graduating, my internship had secured me a position at the creative studio Framemov, a place that I loved to work in all during my internship and after that, there I was able to work with amazingly talented and kind people.
At the creative studio, I have worked on a wide range of projects, doing what I love: designing and animating 3D models and characters, creating Virtual Production environments for Unreal Engine 5 using Aximetry, and Disguise VP software, handling 3D projects, animations, and export of footage for visual projections, development of Interactive Visual Experiences, Interactive AR and Event-Designed Facemask Apps, managing Virtual Production environments on site (ISE23), Experimental input software using low grade cameras and AI Visual Recognition for topDown projection input interaction solutions, and I was able to work in projects for great brands like Canon, AmazonMusic, GoreMedical, Bridgestone, and Infiled, wich I am totally gratefull for. the experience and all the notable people I met when working at the creative studio Framemov. A big salute to all of you!
Since we parted ways, I have been focusing on mastering the art of design and creation of interactive products, videogames, experiences and solutions. Here at RayznGames, we believe that providing a high value to our games and systems while mastering the art of making things with love and passion is the path to follow forward. These are only ways of shifting the tides in the current state of an industry, where the product created is just a mean to an economic end. and the value given to the product, becoames thinner the thicker the end goal is. Interactive Floor
Working at Framemov I was tasked with creating an Interactive system for a 3x3m LED floor Screen, that would be used in the presentation of Pablo Alboran's 2022 single La Cuarta Hoja, an event carried by Amazon Music. at the Warner Music Station In Madrid - Centro Comercial Príncipe Pío. This event required the creation of multiple assets, and systems, and my first time exploring new interactive input techniques, with the cutting-edge Stereoscopic ZED camera, I was the one responsible for the project's completion from start to finish.
Canon Worksop -Virtual Production Set
At ISE 2023 in Barcelona Canon wanted to showcase the Virtual production capabilities of their PTZ camera, the company Framemov was tasked to make some virtual production environments for them. As a 3D designer and programmer, working there I was tasked with making one of the virtual environments in UE5. A workshop space, with a big middle screen that can allow for simplified presentations of new technology, with a sleek scholarship design, that looks polite, advanced, and yet familiar.
INFILED Sports - Virtual Production Set
This is a sports-themed virtual production environment design in Unreal Engine 5 to be used with Disguise Virtual production software. It was created as a preview example, for the curved LED Virtual production screens presented by INFILED in 2022, This served as an example alongside another 2 environments to show the virtual production capabilities of the curved LED screens, and Unreal Engine 5 new lightning features Lumen. Presented first time at IBC 2022. This Virtual production environment has travelled around the world. From Europe to Arabia, and the United States of America. Showing the capabilities of virtual production with Unreal Engine 5 to broader audiences.
Bridgestone - Virtual Production Set
This is a Virtual production environment stage created for Bridgestone for a special event to promote their Turanza tyre model. The backlights of the virtual production stage are DMX externally controllable Lights for further control over the stage lighting
AR - FaceMask
During the COVID pandemic, as an intern at Framemov, while I was finishing my degree in 3d design, Animation and Interactive environments, I was tasked with the creation of an AR facemask application for an event carried out by Gore Medical, when the pandemic was finally over, medical authorities and personnel from multiple hospitals found themselves in a 3 Day straight event with multiple, activities to celebrate their efforts during the pandemic. The Augmented Reality Facemask application (FramePic) was a short-lived success after Google suspended the scripted email-sending capabilities of accounts without 2FA on the 2ND day after Deployment
Magic Museum - Cinematic Projection
This is some UE5 work used in a projection mapping called immersive experience, performed in Madrid, Sala Neptuno,Environment inspired recreation of the inside of El Prado's museum in Madrid.
